Jamshedpur, Nov 4: Passengers travelling through the Chakradharpur railway division are set to face disruptions this month as the South Eastern Railway (SER) undertakes major yard remodelling work at Shalimar station from November 8 to 24.
The maintenance activity will impact several long-distance express trains, resulting in 10 full cancellations and 6 partial operations.
According to the railway authorities, during the remodelling period, several express trains will either remain completely cancelled or will start/terminate at Santragachi instead of Shalimar to facilitate smooth completion of the project.
