New Delhi, May 25: The Election Commission (ECI) said on Saturday that voter turnout for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha polls, which took place on May 25 across 58 parliamentary constituencies spread across six states and two Union Territories (UTs), was 39.13 per cent as of 1 pm.
According to the ECI, West Bengal saw the highest voter turnout at 54.80 per cent by 1 pm.
In the sixth phase till 1 pm, other states witnessing polling include Bihar with a turnout of 36.48 per cent, Haryana with 36.48 per cent, Jammu and Kashmir with 35.22 per cent, Jharkhand with 42.54 per cent, the National Capital Territory of Delhi with 34.37 per cent, Odisha with 35.69 per cent, and Uttar Pradesh with 37.23 per cent, according to the ECI.

In the sixth phase, voting is underway for 42 assembly constituencies in Odisha, with the state concurrently holding its assembly elections alongside the Lok Sabha polls.
Voting underway at 58 seats across six states and two UTs
In the midst of strict security and preparations, voting for the sixth round of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections commenced on Saturday morning across 58 parliamentary constituencies dispersed among six states and two Union Territories (UTs).
The sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections covers eight seats in Bihar, all 10 seats in Haryana, one seat in Jammu and Kashmir, four seats in Jharkhand, all seven seats in Delhi, six seats in Odisha, 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, and eight seats in West Bengal. There are 889 candidates competing in this phase.
The four seats in Jharkhand participating in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections are Ranchi, Dhanbad, Giridih, and Jamshedpur.
