Ranchi, Sept 29: Continuing his diatribe against Chief Minister Hemant Soren, BJP state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today alleged that poor quality cycles are being given to school children. “It is being heard that 40 per cent commission is being taken in this scheme,” he added.
Marandi said that Hemant Soren’s government does not do any work with honesty and commitment. “For five years, the government has looted the mineral wealth of the state, coal, sand, and stone in connivance with brokers and middlemen. CNT and SPT laws have been violated the most in this government. Maximum fraud has been done in tribal land. Even army land was not spared. Fake papers of land were made from Kolkata and sold,” he pointed out.
17 lakh people attend ‘parivartan yatra’
The former chief minister asserted that BJP’s Parivartan Yatra was more successful than expected.
“This yatra has so far covered 4500 kms in 24 districts, 74 assembly constituencies and 202 blocks of the state. The number of people who participated in this yatra despite heavy rains is unforgettable in itself,” he said.
He said that the purpose of the Parivartan Yatra was to make the people of the state aware of the lies and fraud of the INDI coalition government. The BJP was successful in its objective. So far 16 to 17 lakh people have participated in this yatra.
Hemant government has cheated public
Marandi attacked the five-year tenure of the Hemant government. He said that this government has only cheated the innocent people of the state for five years. “Now when the elections are ahead, it is still throwing grains to cheat the public. However, the public is not going to fall into their trap now,” he said.
Marandi said that during the yatra, people said that they were well aware of Hemant Soren’s conduct and character. “It is meaningless to expect development from a person who does not fulfil his promises even after swearing on his father. He cannot be trusted. Hemant government has to be replaced by the BJP government,” he maintained.
Give 26 percent of liquor shops to mothers and sisters
Marandi said that a case was filed against him for exposing the mistakes of the state government. “So far more than half a dozen cases have been filed against meWhatever I had said about the liquor scam earlier, the same thing happened. The script of the liquor scam is being written again in the state. The tender has been issued and then cancelled. This has been done to give the tender to a favourite contractor,” he alleged.
He demanded from the government that 26 per cent of liquor shops in the state should be given to the tribal mothers and sisters who sell Hadiya liquor on the roadside so that they can make their living.
