Jamshedpur, March 20: The Urban Services wing of Tata Steel Foundation as a part of CSR activities in Jamshedpur has been working deafeningly towards the welfare of the urban areas in the city.
630 participants categorized into 65 teams
To recognize and promote the children and women who are involved in community centres directly or indirectly, the Urban Services wing of Tata Steel Foundation organized Nritya Basant, a three-day celebration of all forms of dance in which 630 participants spread the colours of their best moves categorized into 65 teams. The event kicked off at Sonari Community Centre last evening.
This was an open event in which girls, boys and women residing in the bustee areas of all generations performed on the same platform.

The students both girls & boys from Masti Ki Pathshala (MKP) will also take part to showcase their hidden talent through dance.
The MKP is a residential school managed by TSF for deprived children.15 teams are going to perform along with the other groups.
Cultural values through dance
The event helped these participants to engage themselves in understanding the depth of the cultural values of such art form and reviving it by communicating through varied postures of different dance forms.
The motto of the event was to enrich the learning capabilities not only of the children but also provide the homemakers and working women a platform to come out of their comfort zones.
