Stickers for voting adorn staircases of the Collectorate in Daltonganj

Daltonganj, March 23: Stickers for voting! The staircase is the locale of the stickers.

These colourful stickers have been pasted on the flank of the staircases of block A in the Palamu Collectorate, where sits the district election officer cum DC Shashi Ranjan.

The one-liner sticker passionately appeals to take a larger and larger part in the voting due here in Palamu on May 13.

New idea

The stickers drew the attention of everyone who visited block A today. It was new and innovative.

District election officer Shashi Ranjan and his team came up with the sticker on the staircase idea, which has never been seen or read in past elections.

CEO to hold meeting 

Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar has arrived in Daltonganj. He will hold a high-level meeting covering four districts- Palamu, Garhwa, Latehar and Chatra.

Meanwhile, the district administration removed 1,078 political billboards, cutouts, posters, banners, calendars, political festoons, etc, within 72 hours of the imposition of the model code of conduct.

Of 1,078 removals, 594 were from public utility sources, while 484 were from individuals.
