Dhanbad, March 29: The Railway Board has withdrawn the Special Train tag from 25 pairs of Dhanbad Rail Division passenger trains and reduced its fare to Rs 20.
A senior official of Dhanbad Rail Division said that after withdrawing the Special Train tag from passenger trains, its fare has also been reduced, and the fare for the pre-Covid period has been restored.
Now, the minimum local fare of a passenger train would be Rs 10 only at the place of Rs 30.
During the Covid period, the Railway Board ran passenger trains under the name Special Trains and increased the minimum fare to Rs 30 from Rs 10.

The trains whose special train tag has been withdrawn are:
1. Train no. 03541/03542 Asansol- Gomoh- Asansol passenger

3. Train no. 03555/ 03556 Asansol -Barkakana – Asansol passenger
4. Train no. 03341 / 03342 Barkakana- Dehri on-Sone- Barkakana passenger
5. Train no .03371 / 03372 Koderma- Barkakana – Koderma passenger
6. Train no. 08689/ 08690 Ranchi- Tori- Ranchi passenger
