Jamshedpur, May 17: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a dry weather forecast in all districts of Jharkhand today.
Weathermen ruled out the possibility of rain anywhere today. There are also no predictions of thunderstorm activity.
A cyclonic circulation lies over south Bihar and neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level. But, it won’t have any impact on Jharkhand’s weather.
The Met office predicted heat wave this weekend tomorrow.
According to the forecast, heat wave condition is likely to occur at isolated places of Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Godda, Pakur and Sahibganj districts tomorrow.

On Sunday heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places of Garwha, Palamu, Chatra, Deoghar and Giridih districts.
Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by gusty wind (max wind speed: 30-40 kmph) are also expected at isolated places over North-east and Southern parts of the state on Sunday, May 19.
On Monday, May 20 heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places of Bokaro, Dhanbad, Seraikela-Kharsawan and East Singhbhum districts of the state.
Thunderstorm and lightning activity is also predicted accompanied by gusty wind at some places on Monday, as per a long-range forecast of IMD.
