Jamshedpur, Nov 14:  IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre predicted no significant changes in minimum temperature during the next 48 hours.

Weathermen said clear weather would prevail in Jharkhand with fog and mist in the morning.

The minimum temperature would hover between 15  and 19 degrees Celsius.

No significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand. Only light northerly to north-easterly wind prevails at lower levels over the state.

Satellite reading suggested that the upper air cyclonic circulation over the South Andaman Sea extending up to middle tropospheric levels tilting southwestwards with height persists.

Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the Southeast Bay of Bengal during the next 24 hours.

It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over Westcentral Bay of Bengal around  November 16.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed while shallow to dense fog was also reported at isolated places over the state during the past 24 hours.

The highest maximum temperature of 32.4°C was recorded at Chaibasa while the lowest minimum temperature of 16.8°C was recorded at Deoghar.
