Mohali, July 16: For the forthcoming Indian Super League season, Punjab FC announced on Tuesday that it would be retaining five Indian players on multi-year contracts.
Mid-fielder Ashis Pradhan, goal-keeper Ravi Kumar along with Ricky Shabong, Manglenthang Kipgen, and Suresh Meitei are the players who have been retained.
Ravi and Pradhan will be with the club until May 2026, whereas centre-back Meitei and midfielder Ricky will continue with Punjab FC until May 2027 and midfielder Kipgen will continue till May 2028.
In 16 appearances last season, Ravi recorded 47 saves for the club, whereas Meitei made 14 appearances and contributed one assist whereas Pradhan had 17 appearances, Shabong had 10, and Kipgen had 4.
