Ranchi, Sept 7: Minister of State for Coal and Mines Dubey Satish Chandra Dubey today inaugurated a 20 MW solar power plant established by Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in the Piparwar area.
The solar plant is expected to play a crucial role in meeting the growing energy demands of the area while underlying CCL’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices. The minister also met the various stakeholders and officers of CCL at Piparwar.
Earlier, Dubey presided over a review meeting of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL).

During the meeting, CCL CMD Nilendu Kr Singh, CMD of CMPDIL Manoj Kumar, along with the functional directors of both companies, were present.

The minister lauded the performance of CCL and expressed his confidence in the company’s ability to achieve its targets. He issued necessary instructions to augment the performance of the company
Before the meeting, Dubey also paid homage to the Bhagwan Birsa Munda. As part of his visit, he garlanded the statue of Bhagwan Birsa Munda at Birsa Chowk, a prominent landmark in Ranchi.
According to a CCL press release, Dubey’s visit to Ranchi underscores the importance of Central Coalfields Limited’s role in the region’s development and fulfilling the energy demands of the nation through sustainable mining.
