Jamshedpur, Sept. 8: Jamshedpur’s Suicide Prevention Centre, Jeevan, organized a workshop on the importance of mental health and emotional empowerment at the Dayanand Public School campus. The workshop was held as part of the observance of World Suicide Prevention Day, which is marked on 10th September, aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues.

The session was conducted by officials of Jeevan, who shared important tips with participants on how to stay mentally fit. They emphasized the significance of staying mindful of one’s mental health, avoiding negative thoughts, and the importance of emotional empowerment in leading a balanced life.

As part of the event, students from JUSCO School Kadma and Dayanand Public School organized rallies to spread awareness about suicide prevention and mental health. The rallies aimed to promote a positive approach towards mental well-being and encourage collective efforts in preventing suicides.

This initiative motivated students and community members to focus on the importance of mental and emotional health, highlighting the critical role awareness plays in suicide prevention.
