New Delhi, September 9: The Supreme Court ordered on Monday that all photos of the rape and murder victim of Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital be immediately removed from social media.

The Supreme Court also instructed that no disciplinary measures be taken against doctors if they return to work by 5 PM tomorrow. However, it cautioned that if they do not comply, the court may be unable to prevent the state government from taking action, and continued absence could lead to disciplinary consequences.

CBI directed to file fresh report by Sept 17
