  1. Adani Power Limited has USD 800 million pending from Bangladesh for electricity supplied from its Godda plant in Jharkhand. Adani may stop the electricity supply. Due to political instability, Bangladesh’s payments have been delayed for months.
  2. Tata Steel employees will receive a 17.89% bonus this year, the lowest in the last three years. Total Rs. 303.13 crore distributed among 27,454 employees.
  3. GAIL India’s Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plant in Jhiri, Ranchi, is set for inauguration on 17th Sept. The plant aims to produce 5 tons of CBG daily.
  4. The state’s Land acquisition and compensation processes are being managed through the Bhumi Rashi Portal 2.0, launched by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Workshops and training programmes are proposed to train officials.
  5. Only 9.6 lakh of the 20 lakh mutation cases were processed in Jharkhand. Over 10.21 lakh cases were rejected, with Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Hazaribagh having the highest rejections.
  6. The HEC Officers Association held a protest rally in Ranchi. At the rally, they criticized the Government for ignoring HEC’s issues and demanded unpaid wages.
  7. Out of 3,231 applications under 16 industrial policies, only 59 were approved in Jharkhand. No approvals were granted under 10 specific policies, including IT and tourism.
  8. NTPC aims to make its township and offices pollution-free, transitioning to net-zero carbon by 2025-26. A memorandum with USAID has been signed to develop a roadmap for this initiative.
  9. Two JJMP rebels fired at contractor Ajit Sharma near Station Bazaar, Latehar for levy demands. Sharma narrowly escaped. He has filed an FIR against the rebels.
  10. TSPC area commander Muneshwar Ganjhu, surrendered to Ranchi Police, influenced by the Government’s surrender policy.
  11. After the unsatisfactory talks with the personnel department, Jharkhand Secretariat Service employees will go on a mass leave from 10th Sept to 12th Sept.
