Ranchi, Oct 5: Chief Minister Hemant Soren today dedicated the newly constructed building of 500-bed MGM College and Hospital in Jamshedpur.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the hospital located in Tata City was in the service of the public for years. “Due to being years old, its condition was getting dilapidated. In such a situation, as per the decision of the state government, a new medical college and hospital will be in service of the people of Kolhan from today,” he said.

Food, clothing, shelter and employment

The chief minister said that our government has been continuously trying to provide food, clothing and shelter to the people here since the beginning.

“A large number of people of Jharkhand go to other states for employment, so our government made a law that 75% of the local youth will have to be employed in the industries set up here. The youth here also got the benefit of this law. Nowadays our young men and women have got employment opportunities in the private sector,” he pointed out.

He said that our government has done the work of giving respect to the women of the state. “Financial assistance is being transferred to the accounts of women under the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyaan Samman Yojana,” he added.

“If the Central Government provides Rs 1 lakh 36 thousand crore, then Rs 3 lakh will be sent to the accounts of women,” he maintained.

Problems of MGM students
