THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

Patna, Dec 27: ALPHA Sports Academy, under the banner of the Prarambhika Educational Trust, has joined hands with two Arjuna Awardees—Dola Banerjee, a Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, and Rahul Banerjee—to establish the Archery Centre of Excellence at KIIT (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology), Bhubaneshwar. This initiative collaborates with Altruistic Initiatives Sports and aims to revolutionize archery training in India.

ALPHA Sports Academy: Expanding into Archery

Having built a solid foundation in cricket and football, ALPHA Sports Academy is now extending its portfolio to include archery. As the Operational Partner for the new centre, ALPHA will:

  1. Act as the bridge between KIIT and the Banerjee siblings, ensuring smooth coordination.
  2. Manage daily operations, including logistics and administrative responsibilities.
  3. Organize events and tournaments to provide archers with opportunities to compete at national and international levels.
  4. Continue expanding its footprint in other sports, solidifying its position as a leader in multi-sport development.

A Vision Beyond Archery

This partnership is part of ALPHA’s larger mission to create an ecosystem that supports and nurtures young talent across multiple sports. By leveraging KIIT’s world-class infrastructure and fostering collaborations with eminent athletes, ALPHA is building a platform for a new generation of champions who can represent India on the global stage.

Together, ALPHA and KIIT are setting new benchmarks in sports education and excellence. This collaboration marks not just a milestone for archery but also a significant leap toward achieving ALPHA’s vision of a multi-sport future.

Promising talent will be offered 100% scholarships covering training, accommodation, and equipment, ensuring an inclusive environment that prioritizes excellence and accessibility.
