Dubai, Dec 30: The ICC announced on Monday that India’s standout pacer Jasprit Bumrah, England batters Joe Root and Harry Brook, and Australian left-hand batsman Travis Head have been nominated for the ICC Men’s Cricketer of the Year award.
He has also been nominated for the ‘Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year’ award, alongside Root, Brook and Sri Lankan all-rounder Kamindu Mendis.
Jasprit Bumrah delivered an exceptional performance in the 2024 calendar year, showcasing his dominance in both Tests and T20Is.

In 13 Test matches, he claimed 71 wickets at an impressive average of 14.92, with his best bowling figures being 6/45.
In the shortest format, he excelled in 8 T20Is, taking 15 wickets at an outstanding average of 8.26 and maintaining an economical rate of just 4.17 runs per over.
