New Delhi, Feb 6: All petitions challenging the 2025 Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) results will now be heard by a division bench of the Delhi High Court, following a Supreme Court directive on Thursday. The high court has been scheduled to take up the matter on March 3.

A bench of Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justices Sanjay Kumar and K V Viswanathan, in its order, directed the registrars of various high courts—including Bombay, Karnataka, Punjab and Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Calcutta—to ensure the transfer of judicial records of pending cases within seven days to the Delhi High Court.

Earlier, on January 15, the Supreme Court had hinted at consolidating all related petitions in a single high court, with the Punjab and Haryana High Court initially considered as a possibility.

CLAT, held on December 1, 2024, serves as the gateway for admissions into undergraduate and postgraduate law programs.

Multiple petitions were filed in different high courts, alleging errors in several questions of the undergraduate exam. Additionally, separate pleas were submitted contesting the CLAT results for postgraduate admissions.
