JEE Main 2025 results declared, 24 achieve 100 percentile

New Delhi, April 19: A total of 24 students secured a perfect 100 percentile in the JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech), as announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday.

Rajasthan emerged as the leading state with the highest number of toppers at seven, followed by Maharashtra and Telangana with four each. Uttar Pradesh produced three top scorers, while West Bengal had two, and Gujarat, Delhi, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh contributed one each.

Among the top scorers, two were female candidates—Devdutta Majhi from West Bengal and Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh.

This year’s JEE Main was held in two phases—in January and April—and saw a massive participation. Of the 15,39,848 students who registered for either or both sessions, 14,75,103 appeared for the exam.

The January session saw 13,11,544 registrations and 12,58,136 candidates appeared, while the April session recorded 10,61,840 registrations with 9,92,350 candidates sitting for the test.

Conducted as a computer-based test in 13 languages, the exam was held across 300 cities in India and 15 international locations, including cities such as Dubai, Singapore, Doha, and Washington DC.

NTA also released the qualifying percentile cut-offs for students eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2025. The cut-off for the unreserved category was 93.10 percentile. For other categories, the minimum qualifying percentiles were as follows: EWS – 80.38, OBC-NCL – 79.43, SC – 61.15, and ST – 47.90.

Candidates can check their results by visiting the official JEE Main website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

On the other hand, the results of 110 students have been withheld due to cases involving cheating and the use of forged documents. These cases are currently under investigation.
