Ranchi, June 18: In a significant move to enhance career opportunities for youth in Jharkhand, the School Education and Literacy Department of the state government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HCL Technologies for the implementation of the ‘Tech Bee’ program. The agreement was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Jharkhand Secretariat.

Under the ‘Tech Bee’ program, students who have completed their Class 12 education will receive training to build careers in the Information Technology (IT) sector. The initiative not only promises job placement but also provides avenues for higher education.

A Step Towards Youth Empowerment
Addressing the event, Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring a better future for the younger generation of Jharkhand. “Our government is continuously working to guide the youth towards career-building pathways. The MoU for the placement-linked ‘Tech Bee’ program is a major step in this direction,” he said.

He further added, “This initiative will give students a concrete opportunity to turn their aspirations into reality in the IT sector.”

Govt to Fully Support Institutions Creating Career Pathways
Praising the ‘Tech Bee’ initiative, the Chief Minister said the program is a commendable effort to connect Jharkhand’s students with the IT sector immediately after Class 12. He assured that the state government would extend full support to any company or institution that comes forward with a plan to provide technical education, skill training, and employment opportunities for the youth.
“Our government is determined to provide quality education, skill development, and job opportunities to boys and girls across the state,” he said.

Opportunity for a Secure Future After School
CM Soren highlighted that ‘Tech Bee’ offers a unique chance for students to transition from school to a stable future. “Along with training, the program also opens doors to jobs and higher education,” he noted.
He urged students to participate in the program with full dedication and encouraged schools to actively disseminate information about the initiative.
The Chief Minister stressed that children in Jharkhand are full of talent and potential. “What they need is proper guidance. Our government is working relentlessly through various schemes to provide them with quality education, skill training, and employment opportunities,” he said.

Students Can Avail Benefits of Guruji Credit Card Scheme
To ensure that financial constraints do not hinder students’ educational goals, the Chief Minister encouraged students to take advantage of the Guruji Credit Card Scheme.
“Whether you want to pursue engineering, management, or any other course, this scheme offers loans up to ₹15 lakh without any collateral,” he said, assuring government support at every level.
