Jamshedpur, June 26: XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Accenture to strengthen long-term collaboration between academia and industry.
The MoU was signed during Accenture’s campus visit and signals a new chapter in their growing partnership.
The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of senior leaders from both sides, including Fr. S George (Director, XLRI), Prof. Kanagaraj A. (Convenor – Placements), Prof. Sanjay Patro (Dean – Academics), and Prof. Sunil Sarangi.

Representing Accenture were Lakshmi Chandrasekharan (Senior Managing Director & CHRO) and Suresh Nanduru (India Lead – Strategy and Consulting Global Network).

This partnership will drive initiatives across key areas:
* Talent engagement through internships, live projects, and pre-placement offers
* Joint research, case studies, and knowledge-sharing platforms

*Thought leadership through CXO talks and roundtables
* Innovation and sustainability projects aligned with Accenture’s global vision
Spearheaded by Prof. Kanagaraj A. and coordinated by Rajni Ranjan (VP & Head – Placements), the MoU reinforces XLRI’s commitment to shaping industry-ready leaders.

Following the MoU, a Leadership Talk was held at Tata Auditorium, featuring Chandrasekharan and Nanduru attended by over 1,000 students and faculty members.
The session focused on:

* The evolving role of AI in business and people strategy
* Emerging trends in consulting and digital transformation
* Values, career journeys, and purpose-led leadership
The event offered valuable insights into the future of leadership and deepened XLRI’s mission to blend academic excellence with real-world relevance.
