Bhubaneswar, July 31: Odisha Crime Branch has cracked the OTET-2025 question paper leak case related to the examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).

Six people have been arrested in connection with the incident, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to Crime Branch DGP Binaytosh Mishra, the key accused is a data entry operator employed at the BSE office, who managed to access the laptop storing the question paper and distributed it to others.

Electronic devices, including mobile phones and leaked copies of the paper, have been seized.

Investigators have also discovered that money changed hands through digital payment platforms. The bank accounts of the accused are under examination, and efforts are on to trace additional individuals involved in the racket.

The leak came to light on July 19 when the BSE President reported that the OTET exam scheduled for July 20 had been compromised due to question paper leak.

The test was immediately postponed, and a case was registered, leading to a statewide investigation and subsequent arrests.

Further investigation is underway to uncover the full extent of the conspiracy, Mishra said.
