All-party meet sets tone for Jharkhand Assembly Monsoon Session

Ranchi, July 31: An all-party meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahto to discuss preparations for the Jharkhand Assembly Monsoon Session.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi, Radhakrishna Kishore, Pradeep Yadav, Arup Chatterjee, and other leaders attended the meeting.

The discussions focused on ensuring smooth functioning of the House, maintaining a cordial atmosphere, and facilitating in-depth debate on public interest issues.

Speaker Rabindranath Mahto appealed to members to maintain discipline and decorum throughout the session. He emphasized that the Monsoon Session provides an opportunity for significant legislative work and policy discussions, and constructive participation from all parties is expected.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren stressed the need for calm, positive, and constructive discussions during the session. He urged all parties to prioritize issues of public interest and work together to make the session meaningful.

The Monsoon Session will span seven days, including five working days, focusing on key legislative business and policy debates. The coordination meeting is seen as a positive step toward ensuring peaceful and effective proceedings.
