Ranchi, August 16: Padma Shri Ashok Bhagat, founder of Vikas Bharti, along with a delegation of eminent intellectuals, met Jharkhand’s first Governor and former Cabinet Secretary of the Government of India, Prabhat Kumar, at the Ranchi Arogya Bhawan camp office and presented him a book.

Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh said that although the meeting was largely a courtesy visit by Ranchi’s noted intellectuals, a book titled “Parampara aur Prayog”, authored by Ashok Bhagat, was also presented to the former Governor.

Prabhat Kumar deeply appreciated the work of Ashok Bhagat and shared his views on the book with the members of the delegation.

The delegation included IIIT Ranchi Director Dr. Rajiv Srivastava, Acting Vice-Chancellor of Ranchi University and regular Vice-Chancellor of Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) Dr. D.K. Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Sai Nath University Dr. S.P. Agrawal, former Vice-Chancellor of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylanchal University (BBMKU) Dhanbad Dr. Anjani Kumar Srivastava, former Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) Ranchi Dr. Satyanarayan Munda, former National Vice-President of the Indian Medical Association Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, Dr. Vikas Singh, and others.
