Jamshedpur, Sept 23: The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand hosted a session on “GST 2.0 – Key Changes & Industry Implications” in Jamshedpur, bringing together industry leaders and experts to deliberate on the transition to the new tax regime.
Jayesh Taunk, Mentor, CII Jharkhand & CEO, termed GST 2.0 a milestone in India’s indirect tax journey, aimed at simplifying compliance, improving transparency, and strengthening MSMEs.

Vikash Mittal, Convenor, CII Jharkhand Economic Affairs, underlined the new two-rate structure, calling it a potential demand booster for key sectors.

Sanjay Kulkarni, President, Fleetguard Filters Pvt Ltd, appreciated the government’s efforts to streamline tax slabs and strengthen IT-enabled compliance.
Arun A. Gaur, Co-Convenor, Economic Affairs Panel, described GST 2.0 as a strategic tool for data-driven governance and a blueprint for India’s next decade of growth.
Senior finance and tax leaders from Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Kyocera Group, TRF Ltd, and other companies also shared insights on the operational and strategic implications of GST 2.0.
