Shree Anna processing unit inaugurated at Bishunpur

THE JHARKHAND STORY NETWORK

 

Bishunpur (Gumla), Sept 24: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Gumla, Vikas Bharti Bishunpur, in collaboration with the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), inaugurated the Shree Anna Production Technology and Processing Unit at the Tirtha campus in Bishunpur. A seminar on the topic was held at the Ambedkar Auditorium.

Millet-based products and training

The unit will process coarse grains (Shree Anna) into products like biscuits, namkeen, laddus, and flour. It will also provide training for women, creating opportunities for self-employment and rural entrepreneurship.
