PM’s initiatives for J&K
“Jammu and Kashmir, full of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, has immense tourism potential. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has continuously taken various initiatives to promote development in Jammu and Kashmir. An important decision was taken by the prime minister to remove Article 370 to ensure equal rights and duties for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
Article 370
Radhakrishnan said that the petition related to Article 370 was recently upheld as constitutional by the bench of the Supreme Court headed by the Chief Justice of India.
“By ensuring equal rights and duties for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, the benefits of progress will be ensured to them. Certainly, the weak and marginalised people will benefit from various government schemes.”
The governor said that today, our country is leading in youth power. The role of youth is essential in the progress of the country. He added that the youth must contribute to the nation’s development in this direction.
