CPI(ML) Liberation releases list of 20 candidates for Bihar polls

Patna, Oct 18: The CPI(ML) Liberation, an alliance partner of the INDIA bloc in Bihar, on Saturday unveiled its list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections. The party, which had contested 19 seats and secured 12 victories in 2020, has decided to retain all its sitting MLAs as nominees this time as well.

CPI(ML) Liberation general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya said the party had initially sought 24 seats but settled for 20 in the interest of coalition unity. Expressing confidence in the alliance, he remarked, “The Mahagathbandhan will register a sweeping victory as people have grown weary of the NDA government.”
