Ranchi, Nov 14: Delhi Public School, Ranchi, burst into joy and colour as students celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2025. In collaboration with Round Table 160 and Ladies Circle 98, the school campus turned into a lively space filled with laughter, music and cheerful activities. Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan began the day by offering a floral tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, honouring the spirit of the occasion.

Teachers’ Special Assembly Brings Warmth and Creativity

The teachers of the Primary Wing presented a heart-warming Special Assembly, featuring melodious songs, poem recitations and an energetic aerobics session led by the Sports Faculty.
Principal Dr. Chauhan blessed the students and encouraged them to dream big and stay positive. Children from the Primary Wing also enjoyed a special lunch prepared for the celebration.

Magic, Movies and Art Delight the Younger Students

Students from Nursery to Class V enjoyed a fun-filled Magic Show by magician Kaushal Tamrakar, who amazed them with exciting tricks and illusions.
Cartoon movie screenings added laughter to the day, while Tattoo Art teachers painted colourful designs on students’ hands, palms and cheeks.
Adding cultural charm, SPICMACAY artists presented an enchanting Puppet Show, blending traditional art with engaging storytelling—leaving the young audience fascinated.

Live Band, Comedy and Inspiration for Middle and Senior Students

For students of Classes VI to X, the celebrations grew even more vibrant with a powerful live performance by the Ekasth Band, a group of visually impaired artists whose music filled the hall with energy.
A lively stand-up act by comedian Sahil Dutt had students laughing and enjoying the moment.
They also attended an inspiring session by Rishi Sachdev, which added depth to the day’s learning.

Cultural Showcase and Gifts Add to the Festivities

The celebrations continued in the Vivekananda Auditorium, where SPICMACAY artists staged another captivating Dolls Theatre Puppet Show for Middle and Secondary Wing students. The artistic performance highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage through colourful puppetry, music and expressive storytelling.
At the end of the day, students were also gifted special surprises and refreshing treats.

Principal’s Message: A Day to Celebrate Innocence and Dreams

Expressing her delight, Principal Dr. Jaya Chauhan said:
“Children’s Day is a celebration of pure happiness—the laughter, imagination and innocence children bring into our lives. At DPS Ranchi, every child is a star. This day reminds us to nurture their dreams and guide them with affection and care. Watching them sing, dance and express themselves fills me with pride. I wish every child grows with compassion, courage and confidence to build a bright future.”
