Jamshedpur, Nov 26: Sona Devi University, Ghatshila observed Constitution Day today (November 26) with dignity, enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The programme, held at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium, saw impressive participation from students, faculty members, department heads, deans, officers and staff.
Focus on Constitution’s Evolution, Rights and Duties
The event featured insightful discussions on important themes such as:

- the evolution of the Indian Constitution,
- its significance,
- Fundamental Rights and Duties, and
- the spirit of the Preamble.
Speakers explained the constitution-making process, its major role in strengthening Indian democracy, and the responsibilities that every citizen must uphold.
Collective Pledge to Uphold Constitutional Values
A particularly inspiring moment came when all participants took a collective pledge to respect, uphold and follow the values of the Constitution.
The pledge reflected their commitment to democratic principles and national development.
The programme was smoothly anchored by NSS Programme Officer P. Mali, whose coordination contributed to the event’s success.
