Ranchi, Dec. 3: The Jharkhand High Court has delivered its verdict on the petition seeking a CBI investigation into the alleged JSSC CGL paper leak. On Wednesday, the Court dismissed the petition and directed the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) to release the exam results.
The Court had reserved its decision during the previous hearing after arguments from all sides were completed.
Arguments Presented Before the Court
During the earlier hearing, arguments were presented by the state government, the JSSC, the petitioners, and the successful candidates.
Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan and Advocate Piyush Chitresh appeared on behalf of the state government, while Advocate Sanjoy Piprawal represented the JSSC.
Senior Supreme Court Advocate Ajit Kumar Sinha and Senior High Court Advocate Ajit Kumar also argued the case.

Recruitment Process to Begin
The High Court dismissed the plea and instructed the JSSC to release the results and initiate the recruitment process.
However, the Court stayed the publication of results for ten candidates who had prepared for the exam while living in Nepal.
With this order, the way has been cleared for thousands of appointments under the JSSC CGL recruitment in Jharkhand.
JMM Welcomes Verdict, Says Appointment Letters Coming Soon
Meanwhile, the JMM reacted strongly to the verdict, stating that “thousands of CGL candidates, get ready—appointment letters are on the way.”
In its social media statement, the party wrote:
“Hemant ji’s faith is the faith of truth, the faith of the youth of Jharkhand.”
The JMM accused BJP leader Babulal Marandi, the BJP, and the coaching mafia of mocking the hard work and dreams of Jharkhand’s youth.
“Today, the truth has dealt them a harsh blow,” the post added.
The party further said that although the cold weather may cause discomfort for a few days, the “deep wounds inflicted on the youth of Jharkhand by the BJP and its gangs will not be forgotten,” adding that the youth “will not accept any apology.”
