IIT ISM Dhanbad basketball teams leave for Inter-IIT Sports Meet in Chennai

 

Dhanbad, Dec 11: A 24-member contingent from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad’s men’s and women’s basketball squads left for Chennai on Thursday to compete in the 58th Inter-IIT Sports Meet, scheduled at IIT Madras from December 14 to 21.

IIT ISM Sports Officers Anita Kumari and Abhishek Baishya conveyed their best wishes to the teams, expressing confidence that the players would deliver a strong performance at the national-level meet.

Men’s and women’s coach Mouli Samanta said both teams underwent intensive preparation for the tournament and are aiming for improved results this year.
