Mumbai, Dec 12: IndiGo has brought in an external aviation specialist to investigate the severe operational breakdowns that have plagued the airline since December 2.

The carrier on Friday said that its parent company, InterGlobe Aviation, has already formed a crisis management group, and the newly appointed expert will work alongside it to identify the underlying issues.
Chief Aviation Advisors LLC, headed by veteran aviation professional Captain John Illson, has been tasked with conducting a fully independent review. The firm will begin its inquiry immediately and prepare a detailed report for the board.
