Ranchi, January 9: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday launched the Abua Dishom Budget Portal and Mobile App at the Jharkhand Secretariat, inviting experts and the general public to share suggestions for the state budget for the financial year 2026–27.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the foundation of a strong state is built not only through government schemes but also through active public participation. He said the state government is making continuous efforts to prepare an inclusive budget with people’s involvement.

Top three suggestions to get rewards

Suggestions can be submitted through the Abua Dishom Budget Portal and Mobile App, as well as through social media platforms including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and X, till January 17, 2026. The top three suggestions will be selected and rewarded at a special programme.

Officials said suggestions, particularly those related to revenue enhancement, can play a key role in strengthening the state’s economy.

Early start for public input from next year

The Chief Minister directed officials that from the next financial year, the process of inviting public suggestions through the portal should begin from November 15, so that participation from even the remotest areas of Jharkhand can be ensured.

Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar, Secretary (Expenditure), Secretary (Resources), Special Secretary and other senior officials were present during the launch.

JSBCCL presents Rs 20 crore dividend to Jharkhand government
