Jamshedpur, Jan 31: Jharkhand is expected to witness largely dry weather over the next few days, with shallow fog or mist likely at isolated places during morning hours and partly cloudy skies later in the day, according to the latest meteorological assessment.
From January 31 to February 2, shallow fog or mist is forecast at isolated locations across the state during early morning hours. Daytime conditions will remain mostly dry with partly cloudy skies in most districts.
Light Rain Possible in North-West on Feb 3
A slight change in weather is expected on February 3, with light rainfall at isolated places in north-western Jharkhand. Other regions are likely to continue experiencing dry conditions along with morning mist and partial cloud cover.

Meteorological officials said no significant synoptic system is currently influencing the state. Jharkhand remains under north-westerly to westerly wind flow, leading to stable atmospheric conditions and a continued dry spell.
Temperature Within Seasonal Limits
During the past 24 hours, dry weather prevailed across Jharkhand, with light to moderate fog reported at isolated places in the morning. The highest maximum temperature was recorded at 29.8°C in Chaibasa, while the lowest minimum temperature stood at 8.6°C in Ranchi (Kanke).
Residents have been advised to exercise caution during early morning travel due to reduced visibility, especially on highways and rural roads. Farmers and commuters are advised to plan activities accordingly.
