Ranchi, March 25: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has successfully concluded its skill development programme under CSR in collaboration with CIPET Ranchi, aimed at improving the employability of local youth.
A certificate distribution ceremony was held for the 5th batch, marking the completion of the programme. Under the initiative, 180 youths were trained across batches. In the latest batch, 35 trainees received four months of free training in Machine Operator – Injection Moulding (MO-IM). Notably, 31 trainees have already secured placements in reputed plastics manufacturing companies.

Focus on industry-ready skills
The programme, conducted under an MoU between CCL and CIPET, provided both theoretical and practical training in areas like plastics processing and injection moulding, helping participants become industry-ready.
Officials highlight importance
The event was attended by senior officials from both organisations. CCL Director (HR) Harsh Nath Mishra, the chief guest, said skill development of local youth remains a key CSR priority and such initiatives aim to enhance livelihood opportunities and support regional industrial growth.
Trainees expressed gratitude to CCL and CIPET for providing them with career-building opportunities.
