IIT (ISM) Dhanbad opens BS-MS chemical science admissions for 2026

Dhanbad, March 30: The Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has announced admissions for its five-year integrated BS-MS (4+1) programme in Chemical Science for the 2026 academic session.

Five-year integrated programme with research focus

The programme is designed to build a strong foundation in chemical sciences while promoting innovation, research aptitude, and interdisciplinary learning. The curriculum integrates core chemistry with emerging areas, enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

A major highlight of the course is its research-driven approach, offering hands-on experience through laboratory work, projects, and exposure to ongoing scientific studies. Students will also have access to advanced laboratories and state-of-the-art research facilities at the institute.

Admissions through JEE Advanced, focus on careers and skills
