DPS Ranchi students shine in CBSE class XII board exams

Ranchi, May 13: Delhi Public School (DPS) Ranchi continued its tradition of academic excellence by delivering an impressive performance in the CBSE Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) 2026.

Students of the school recorded outstanding results across Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams, bringing laurels to the institution with exceptional scores.

Riyan Sarda tops school with 99.6%

Riyan Sarda from the Humanities stream emerged as the school topper, securing an impressive 99.6 per cent marks in English plus the best four subjects.

Among the stream-wise toppers:

  • Shivanshi Sharma topped the Science stream with 99.2%
  • Anvesha Saboo emerged as the Commerce stream topper with 98.6%

Impressive overall performance

The school’s overall results reflected consistent academic excellence.

Out of a total of 767 students who appeared for the CBSE Class XII examination:

  • 127 students scored 95% and above
  • 362 students scored 90% and above
  • 555 students scored 85% and above
  • 159 students secured a perfect score of 100 marks in different subjects

The school said the exceptional results were achieved through the dedication and hard work of students, along with the continuous support of teachers and parents.

Principal congratulates students and teachers

Expressing happiness over the outstanding performance, DPS Ranchi Principal Dr Jaya Chauhan congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of teachers and parents.

“These remarkable achievements reaffirm the school’s commitment towards holistic education and academic excellence,” Dr Chauhan said.

She also praised the discipline, perseverance, and determination shown by the students throughout the academic session.
