Newly promoted joint secretaries meet Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren

Ranchi, May 15: Officers newly promoted to the rank of Joint Secretary in the Jharkhand Administrative Service (JAS) paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister’s Residential Office on Kanke Road in Ranchi on Friday.

During the meeting, the newly promoted officers expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister for the promotion.

Addressing the officers, Chief Minister Hemant Soren extended his best wishes and said he was confident that they would play an important role in ensuring effective implementation of government welfare schemes, good governance initiatives and development programmes for the benefit of the common people.

The Chief Minister said the officers are expected to contribute more efficiently in their respective departments and strengthen public service delivery across the state.

State Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar was also present on the occasion.
