Dhanbad, Dec 27: On the eve of the party’s 138th  foundation day, the Dhanbad district wing of Professional Congress held a crowdfunding ‘Donate for Desh’ programme in Coal City.

Professional Congress district president Dr DK Singh led the crowdfunding programme and encouraged common people, party ideology supporters and workers to give donations to the Congress Party fund.

The Professional Congress leaders said that over Rs 15000 were collected in the campaign in Coal City today, and people contributed through an online mode link issued by the AICC.

Dr DK Singh said that as per party instruction on the Party’s 138th foundation day, donations of Rs 138, Rs 1380 or 13,800 were requested for donors to pay.

Dr DK Singh said that due to the wrong policy of the BJP government, the Constitution of India, democracy and the future of youth have landed in danger. Cong Party, which got   the country free from British rule, today needs help from people to launch agitation against this government for the protection of the Constitution and democracy in the country, he added.

Sanjay Jaiswal, Dr G N Mishra, Dr Krishna Murari, Dr Jitendra Aryan, Sunil Kashyap, Mantu Das, Raj Kishore Prasad Sinha Kamta Paswan, Ankit Kumar, Jivan Ghosh, Niwaran Mahto, Mohan Mahto, Pritam Rawani, Rajkumar, Ravishankar Singh, Nitesh Sharma, Nawazish Afjal, Ashish Sinha, Vijay Kumar, Navin Paswan, and Vishal Raut also participated in the campaign.
