Ramgarh, Jan. 2: Ramgarh Taxi Men’s Union Secretary Arun Kumar Sinha today supported the drivers’ agitation against the hit-and-run law of the Central Government.
He said that under the Hit and Run Act of the Central Government if a person dies in an unfortunate accident caused by a vehicle driver, there is a provision of 10 years of imprisonment and a fine of Rs 7 lakh for the driver, which is unfair.
While reacting to this law of the Central Government, he said that the vehicle drivers and owners are already troubled by the massive increase in the prices of diesel and petrol and with the introduction of this law, their problems have increased further.
Sinha said that no driver wants even an ant to die in his vehicle while driving. Unfortunately, such incidents happen.
Sinha said that people start beating the driver whenever an accident occurs instead of taking the injured person to the hospital. At the same time, such incidents should not happen.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has never done any work in public interest till now, and he works to increase the people’s problems. The hit-and-run law of the Central Government is also increasing the difficulties of the ordinary people. He said that the Central Government should immediately withdraw this law; otherwise, there would be a large-scale protest against it.
He said that a driver can earn Rs 10-12 thousand a month after a lot of trouble. In such a situation, according to the new government law, how will the drivers be able to pay the fine of Rs 7 lakh?
He said that due to this black law of the Central Government, people faced a lot of difficulty in having picnics and visiting their known people on the first day of the New Year because the drivers have announced an agitation for three days in protest against the government law.
The Secretary of Ramgarh Taxi Men’s Union said that the movement of vehicles came to a complete halt in the entire district on Tuesday in protest against the central government’s hit-and-run law. The drivers strongly protested against the central government law by blocking the road.
