Ranchi, January 12: The state higher education department is in the making of friends in distress for the Divyangjan and orphan students.
The higher education department is in the advanced stages of framing a scholarship scheme for Divyangjan and orphan students.
Secretary of the higher education department Rahul Kumar Purwar announced this to the Divyangjan and orphan students’ cheers.

There is hardly any year when students do not lose their parents. They abandon their courses mid-way.
The higher education department is now gearing up for them. There is a decline in the numbers; when their number was 533 in 2021, it’s now 462 in 2023.
Again, 771 Divyangjan students were enrolled, out of which just 77 could complete their programmes as per the AISHE 2020 -21 survey report.
