New Delhi, Nov 23: In the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Mahayuti alliance is heading toward a landslide victory. Union Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah called Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde, BJP leader and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, and NCP leader and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar to congratulate them.

While extending his greetings, Amit Shah emphasized maintaining stability in the state and prioritizing the development agenda. He remarked that the people of Maharashtra have placed their trust in the government, which must be fulfilled through collective efforts.

Following this, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted, “Ek hai to safe hai! Modi hai to mumkin hai!” (If united, we are secure! With Modi, it’s possible!) and stated that the Mahayuti is once again ready to form the government in Maharashtra.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde earlier stated that the alliance, which contested the elections as a united front, will make a collective decision on the Chief Ministerial post after the final results are announced.

“Let the final results come in… Then, in the same way as we fought elections together, all three parties will sit together and take a decision (on who will be the CM),” Shinde stated.

Eknath Shinde said that they are ready to form the Mahayuti government in the state and thanked the voters of Maharashtra for their support in the victory. He called it a spectacular win and reiterated that he had previously predicted a massive victory for Mahayuti. He expressed his gratitude to everyone and thanked the workers from all sections of society and Mahayuti parties.
