New Delhi, September 19: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday announced that Rajya Sabha MP Atishi will take the oath as Delhi’s Chief Minister on September 21.

“Atishi will take oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi on September 21, other ministers will also take their oaths alongside her,” AAP said in a statement.

Atishi, 43, will become the third woman to serve as Delhi’s Chief Minister, following Sushma Swaraj and Sheila Dikshit. A prominent leader of the AAP, she previously served as an Advisor to Manish Sisodia during his tenure as Education Minister.
