Patna, Oct 3: In the Safiyasarai police station area of Munger, Bihar, prominent Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Pankaj Yadav was shot at while out for a morning walk.
According to news reports, Pankaj Yadav, who is the party’s state general secretary, was shot at by assailants this Thursday morning. He has been admitted to the hospital, where his condition remains serious.

It has been reported that he sustained three gunshot wounds. The police are currently investigating the case, but no arrests have been made.
The police have conducted an inspection and established a blockade in the area. The search for the assailants is ongoing; however, no leads on their whereabouts have been found so far.
