Dhanbad, May 1:  Chief Minister Champai Soren today alleged that the BJP MPs from Jharkhand did nothing in the last 10 years. “They are now seeking votes in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee which has no credibility among people,” he said.

Anupama has a clear vision: CM

He said that INDI Alliance candidate Anupama Singh has a clear vision of working in the interest of miners, labourers and poor people of Dhanbad-Bokaro.

Champai Soren, who was addressing the nomination rally of the INDI Alliance candidate at Golf ground on Wednesday evening, said that under the ambitious scheme of the Prime Minister, each BJP MP had adopted a village for development but in 10 years they did no development work in the village.

BJP govt backed out on pakka makan: CM

“The BJP betrayed the people of Jharkhand by promising to give ‘Pukka Makan’ to 8 lakh people of the state. It made a list of beneficiaries but at the time of releasing funds, the BJP government backed out. But when the alliance government came to power in 2019 it decided to give a ‘Pukka Makan’ to 30 lakh people of the state at its own cost,” said the chief minister.

Modi’s guarantee

Champai Soren in his short speech said that since BJP MPs did nothing in the last 10 years, they have no development issues in this election and trying to sail over on Modi’s guarantee.

The chief minister said the alliance government is fighting development issues and is providing education, health and other facilities to poor labourers, farmers and villagers at their door.

High price issue

The chief minister said in 2014 the BJP came to power in the name of high price issue. “It protested displaying the price of   LPG cylinders, diesel, petrol and other commodities. But today the cylinder is delivered at Rs 1200,  the price of diesel and petrol has reached Rs 100 per litre,” he pointed out.

Champai Soren said that he came to say that democracy and the constitution are in danger in the country. People get the opportunity to vote once in five years but Narendra Modi is trying to stop that.

“If anyone tries to raise their voice against it, agencies send him to jail on false charges.  Elected chief minister Hemant Soren was sent to jail while he had nothing to do with land. Similarly, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal was sent to jail,” said Champai Soren.

Ministers Alamgir Alam, Badal Patralekh, Cong state president Rajesh Thakur, MLA Anup Singh, Tundi MLA Mathura Prasad Mahto ( JMM Giridih candidate), Jharia MLA Purnima Neeraj Singh and other senior leaders also addressed the rally.
