Ranchi, Dec 9: A meeting of the newly elected BJP MLAs was held today at the party’s state office, chaired by State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi.
The newly elected MLAs were welcomed with the party’s symbolic turban by Babulal Marandi and other leaders.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Babulal Marandi emphasised that BJP MLAs are the face of the party. He stated that they must meet the expectations of the public and actively address public issues both in the Assembly and on the streets.

He further highlighted that BJP MLAs would serve as a strong opposition, ensuring that the government is held accountable. He noted that the upcoming session would focus primarily on completing constitutional formalities.
Marandi also assured that the BJP would consistently press the government on key issues, including the state’s development, law and order, unemployment, women’s rights, and corruption. The party is committed to fighting for these causes, whether in the legislature or on the streets.

Additionally, he underlined the importance of the MLAs’ role in the party’s organizational festival. He urged all MLAs to participate in large numbers and make the event a success.
