Getting information from Sindri SDPO Bhupendra Prasad Raut, the Bhowra OP in-charge reached the spot immediately and began raids in the area in search of the accused.
Kali Charan Yadav is also the central committee vice-president of Rashtriya Colliery Mazdoor Sangh (RCMS) Dadai Dubey faction and was campaigning for Congress candidate Anupama Singh in the Lok Sabha elections.
Personal rivalry is said to be the reason behind the attack. Sources said since Kali Charan Yadav is a trade union leader, firing for supremacy on coal turf can’t be ruled out. The arresting of a youth may lead police to reason of crime.
