Jamshedpur, April 15: In a significant development outlined in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) resolution letter issued by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Mudra loan scheme is set to undergo a substantial transformation, potentially reshaping the economic landscape of the country.

Suresh Sonthalia, National Secretary of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), elaborated on the resolution’s key components during its release in New Delhi.

Upliftment of three crore women

The resolution proposes an increase in the Mudra Scheme limit to Rs 20 lakh, aiming to empower a vast segment of the population economically. Additionally, it envisions uplifting three crore women to the status of ‘Lakhpati Didi’ and leveraging the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana.

Sonthalia emphasized the significance of these initiatives, particularly in providing support to street vendors operating in villages and towns.

Sonthalia praises BJP’s economic roadmap

Sonthalia underscored the potential impact of these measures on the country’s economy, foreseeing a surge in business opportunities for small shopkeepers, enhanced self-employment prospects, and a consequent boost in employment generation. He emphasized the role of such initiatives in fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency across various sectors.

Characterizing the BJP’s resolution letter as a roadmap for the nation’s progress, Sonthalia expressed confidence in India’s trajectory towards greater prosperity under Prime Minister  Modi’s leadership over the next five years. He lauded the document for its comprehensive approach to advancing the country’s civilization, culture, and economic prosperity.

Sonthalia also highlighted the commitment demonstrated by Prime Minister  Modi towards fulfilling the promises outlined in the party’s manifesto. He cited the Prime Minister’s announcement of initiating work on the priorities of the first 100 days immediately after winning the elections on June 4, underscoring Modi’s determination to translate vision into action.

Commitment to inclusive growth and entrepreneurship

The resolution’s unveiling signifies the BJP’s concerted efforts to address key economic challenges and foster inclusive growth, with a focus on empowering marginalized communities and spurring entrepreneurship.

As the nation looks towards the future, the implementation of these initiatives holds the promise of ushering in a new era of economic dynamism and social upliftment under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
