Being confined within the four walls of your room is suffocating and restricts the incoming of ideas and knowledge as if suffocating your mind as well.

It’s not just about the amount of stress the spine faces due to being in a particular position for long durations but also the time the mind needs to relax to reload with new thoughts.
The feeling of getting out in the sun and simply breathing after being caged in a room for hours is similar to that of being reborn. Vitamin D helps synthesise Dopamine, the happy hormone and vitamin D deficiency will affect its growth.

Activities like “Forest Therapy” have gained popularity over time, where people practice yoga and meditation amongst trees and take a break from social life to improve their mental and physical health.
Forest Therapy, or shinrin-yoku, is based on a Japanese practice involving the practice of peace and silence within a forest and breathing deeply. For people struggling to make time and travel to a place inhabited by abundant trees, simply sitting on a balcony and carrying out a hobby will also have an immense positive effect.
