CBSE training of trainers’ certification course concludes at DPS Bokaro

Dhanbad, Feb 10: The two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Certification Course, organized by CBSE in collaboration with the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM), Government of India, concluded successfully at Delhi Public School (DPS), Bokaro on Sunday.

The event was attended by Ravi Prakash, Head of the Centre of Excellence (CoE), CBSE, Patna Region, and Raghwendra Kumar, Section Officer, CoE, CBSE, Patna Region.

More than 60 educators took part in this intensive certification program, engaging in insightful discussions, interactive sessions, and hands-on training.

Expert-Led Sessions on Pedagogical Excellence

The training sessions were conducted by esteemed resource persons, Pramod Kumar Jaiswal, Deputy Director, ISTM, Government of India, and Dr. Subhrajyoti Ray, Joint Director (P) (Admn), Government of West Bengal. They provided valuable insights into effective pedagogical practices, competency-focused education, and innovative teaching strategies.

Focus on NEP 2020 and Educator Empowerment

On the second day, Dr. Paramjeet Kaur, Principal of Sarla Birla Public School, Ranchi, joined as a resource person. She guided educators on the fundamental principles of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, emphasizing ethical values, 21st-century skills, art integration, and experiential learning.

She highlighted how these principles serve as a roadmap for enhancing educators’ skills and preparing them to meet the evolving challenges of the modern education system.

Ravi Prakash Stresses Importance of Such Programs

Ravi Prakash, Head of CoE, CBSE, Patna Region, underscored the significance of such platforms in transforming the education system.

“These certification courses are designed to create highly skilled educators who can effectively implement the principles of NEP 2020. By imparting quality education, we can shape young learners into self-reliant citizens, ultimately contributing to India’s vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047,” he said.
